Who I Am…
I have been a licensed counselor since 2017 and have worked with children, adults, couples, and families.
I have my PhD in Counseling and Psychological Studies with an Emphasis in Trauma and Crisis Counseling as well as two master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy.
I am a lifelong learner, a reader, a baker, a mother, and a wife. I was raised on The Lord of the Rings and Indiana Jones, and I love The Office, Bob’s Burgers, and true-crime documentaries.
I enjoy meeting others where they are through humor and warmth. I believe laughter can be a space for both healing and connection.
I am passionate about working with people who have experienced trauma, whether that is religious trauma, childhood trauma, or trauma on the job.
I am the daughter of a first responder, and my husband was one for 10 years. This is a population I love working with, and I have a unique lived experience that allows me to connect with them in a way many others can’t. My first responder clients have told me, “You’re not in the cop club, but you’re pretty damn close”.
